The #Horizon project Blue Mission Banos has produced a roadmap for 2030 resulting in top action points to be promoted during the coming years, organized around the thematic fields of freshwater and ocean regeneration; marine protection, planning & policy; sustainable fishery; coastal communities, islands & tourism; shipping & ports, and business support. The 2nd Arena conference held April 26-27 in Riga, Latvia, served as the venue for participants to vote on the priority of six goals that constitute the Roadmap 2030 for targeted regions of the Baltic Sea:
1. Restore and regenerate oceans and freshwater
2. Improve and extend marine protection, planning and the policy framework
3. Extend and improve the sustainability of fisheries
4. Support coastal communities, islands and the tourism industry
5. Modernize ports, harbors and shipping processes to be more green
6. Increase support for blue businesses and related skills development
